Enigma is awesome. There is also a solo album that came out before Enigma, same main guy, I think its called Cretu(??), some awesome stuff as well.

Enigma is one of my favorite mood bands to sit in the studio with the black light on and just play some smooth distortion melody along with....

Now that would be cooler than ( * ) ( * ) if Steve hooked up with them for a song or 7.....

It would indeed, the main dudes quite a good guitarist anyway, but vai would make it rock even more- and i think they'd get on well because they both love melody

Oh yeah, Enigma is great!

Especially "Sadeness Part One", my favourite piece, just incredible...

Oh my!! Enigma is the coolest!! I'm a HUGE fan of Mr Cretu and have bought every release the day it came out. And I agree with Allen, it's just SO nice to just sit in a dark, candlelit room, just jamming along with the songs, but I prefer using an acoustic, it brings out a more natural feel from the songs.... :)

On a side note, Mr Cretu has just signed a new 10-year/4-album contract for Enigma with Virgin................ sweet!!!

MY dad listens to them a lot in the car, I don't know much about "them" (at first I Thought it was a solo artist now I am confused) but it is great background music especially for converstaion and stuff
