T-Ride

#1 Post by Hjalmar Jakobsson » Mon Dec 22, 2008 4:03 pm

Hi everybody:D
Wanted to share a great band called "T-Ride" with all of you.
T-Ride was a great band which only released one cd(T-Ride) as they didn't sell very much. Anyway I think they are geniuses. They sound like they are about a 100 guys in the band and their guitarplayer were a student of Satriani and he is a real wizard when it comes to guitar sounds an textures etc.
So try check out their CD T-Ride even though it's extremely hard find so you might need to download

Guitarist=Geoff Tyson guitar god (he appears in Joe Satriani's "Satch Tapes")
CD=T-Ride

T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride T-Ride

Hope you like them:)

They were great indeed ! I saw them once in concert. They were the opening band for Ugly Kid Joe on the European tour back in 1992.
The drummer (Eric Valentine) did some works with Satriani as a producer, piano/keys, ...

Indeed, the CD is awesome. Very tight guitar playing and despite the slightly annoying vocal tone (imo) the songs are great to listen to. They didn't take themselves too seriously either. I heard rumours of a 2nd CD that was recorded but never released. Anyone else confirm that?

I love T-Ride! Zombies from Hell, Ride, Backdoor Romeo, Hit Squad, they're all great. I like that they don't take themselves too seriously but the music is so catchy. I wish they released more.

I've heard a song from the second unreleased album  forget what it's called though :?

Fantastic band - Jeff Tyson one seriously good guitarist. We all called this future metal at the time. I'll have to see if I can find that CD now...

I remember seeing the backdoor romeo vid and liking the song. Never got to hear anything else by them though. Ah, the good old days when you couldn't just go to a band's myspace to check out their music...

Great that some other people also have heard of them:)
I've got a song called "Serial Killer" from their second album and it's freaking awesome! The guitar parts are just amazing, so the rumors are true that they have 3/4 of a second album made:) So I wish that they some they will get together and release that second CD.

Dude, you're confusing me.
Is there , or isn't there a 2nd album.....?
You say you have it, yet you're wishing they would release it.
Which is it?

Awesome.
I was watching "The Satch Tapes" and was trying to find something about this band and their guitar player Geoff Tyson.

I'd love to hear this rumoured 2nd album stuff - kinda liking Jeff/Geoff's solo album stuff.

There are about two T-Ride tabs on the Geoff Tyson forum and two on UltimateGuitar.com i think.
(Best band ever)
