Hey folks,

Wanted to hear your thoughts on the 2008 album of the year.

For me, it was:

Meshuggah - obZen

Nothing else came close.

Name your album(s) of the year here - with album covers, and feel free to name your personal picks for runners up also.

This album kicked my ass, and I loved every minute of it. Also, the show was brutally intense. So, I am with you on this one, Mikey. Thanks again for turning me on to these guys. Album of the year!

I love Meshugga! thats a great choice.

An album I really enjoyed this year was 'Stainless style' by Neon Neon. A little different from what I usually listen to. It's a
Concept album about John Delorean's life and his bamboozling of Belfast.

...a bit of a dry year after so much awesome guitar rock in 2007... (Andy James, Senor Pablo, Mr Vai etc;)

+1! But mostly the live performance, truly the best show I've been to!

Hey! 'Stainless Style' is one of my favourite albums this year too! It's so refreshingly different and great for us 80s electropoppers! Gilberto's SFADR is another highlight for me. I'm most looking forward to Weiner's new album next year though.
