All smart assedness aside I can't get my head around the fact that she doesn't like orchestral works. I never realized I was that narrow minded but I just can't see how someone can't like them, at least a little. There's no hope for your impressing her as far as I can tell.

Your teacher is ignorant and stupid

Make her listen to Mr. Vai's music:

Lotus Feet
Whispering A Prayer
Warm Regards
Sisters
Being With You (In Paris)
For The Love Of God etc.
Try Slow and Melodic SOngs

Others:
Pink Floyd
Buckethead (Slow Stuff like Earth Heals Herself)

She prefer chamber music instead of big symphonic works, probably because she prefer intimacy instead of huge-scale epic. She's not the only one who prefer a string quartet over a 1812 overture, cause I know some other people who prefer the same thing.

Maybe some Zappa like One Size Fits All or Roxy & Elsewhere. Doubt it would help but might be worth it just for the look on her face. That is some great music though. Just something for thought, revenge can be a wasted energy. It might not even affect the one that it's intended for.

Hummmm, well maybe even with Pat or Allan she might deslike that anyway...
So, if you are looking for revenge, you can try Slipknot or GWAR dvds or any Zappa strong message song
If you you wanna try to put some love in her heart, you can try Steve's Warm Regards...
If you want to be ok with her, after all she is your aunt, right? so you always can have some James Last or anything similar!!!

Hope have help you somehow,

 Seraphim
