What about Sharing about great guitarist from your country???
I am mexican, and here we have Julio Revueltas, who is abit of Steve vai wannabe, and his ego is bigger (what a shame!!) but, he plays his ass off, and has very good original songs.

Our national treasure is Guthrie Govan. He has fantastic musical taste, interestingly quirky,he's humble and down to earth and the most precise, clean player I've heard in years. I whole-heartedly recommend his album, 'Erotic Cakes'. I wish he was more productive though......

Take that back!!

For the purposes of this thread, my country is Northern Ireland (although I live in Scotland at the minute and have joint UK-Irish nationality). Anyway, Gary Moore & Jim Armstrong are probably the 2 best examples from my country. There's this guy Rab McCullough who I used to watch a fair bit when I was a student too: he's a pretty good blues player

Mikko Salovaara from Kiuas (http://www.kiuas.net/index2.php) is definitely one of my favorites. also the other guitarist in the video, Mr. Crab is pretty damn talented. you may know him from the infamous Born to shred series.

yet still, no matter what you say, Timo Tolkki pwns all.
