what should I say... geez...

Well, not rly what I'd listen to. Can't deny that he can shred fast though.

But we all know that shredding doesn't make the guitarist.

So yeah, nuff zed.

I've seen him in that video. What I wasn't able to see was his hands.

At first, it seemed like he was going to play the same pattern over and over for a minute and a half. He was going for it, but slowed down a few times to play a couple short blues lick. I'm sure it's cool in his mind, that's all that counts... right?

not really music just annoying noise from someone who doesn't 'play' IMO

I'd love to see him play in a normal everyday band situation - he just wouldn't be able to fit in at all!

lol if you could do it you'd all make a video to, nah a 1min 20 sec video with 40bps in the title will definitely capture his melodic side. Who cares, sometimes is good to just say fuck it and shred like a dickhead lol. At least it sounds clean (as much as you can tell anyway) so at least he hasn't jumped the gun trying to be a speed freak before learning how to play chords or something. The only thing that gets me about speed videos is theres ALOT of them. If you made a video of you playing blues, no one goes pfffft love to see him in a metal band, he'd just get eaten alive, because you realise the guy probably didn't play 1 style his entire life and probably does know how to do something else even though this particular video doesn't show it. So why do speed freaks get so blasted for making a video?

I'd say the reason is that many people have no interest in hearing another random guy play the same pattern in octaves for a minute and a half. Also, there's nothing musical about it to catch and keep the majorities attention.
