I was wondering what some of the cream of the cream axmen's big songs are.I know Vai's is FTLOG,and Satch's is Surfing with the alien.But I was wondering about some other guys like John Petrucci,Rob Balducci,Andy Timmons,etc... thanks 8)

Umm I think Stach's signature song is "Satch Boogie". Either that or "Always with me Always with you".

Hmm, I think Erotomania is his most representative.

For Vai I would choose For The Love Of God, altough I prefer Tender Surrender. :D

When it comes to vocal songs, I'd say yes, but for instrumentals it is definitly, IMO at least "Far Beyond the Sun" or "Black Star". FBtS is the piece that has been at more of his concerts than any though, even the ones he did with the New Japan Philharmonic a couple of years ago.

YJM's "Far Beyond the Sun" is one of the best neoclassical tunes ever!!! When I saw the music video for this song in the mid 80's I was in absolute awe.

Still am.....
