#1 Post by Tony K » Sun Nov 26, 2006 6:07 pm

C'Mon guys, you gotta love em'!

They have been my favorite band since my discovery of music, and Steve states them as an influence also...

Any other Led-Heads?

I've listened the hell out of zeppelin that my head can practically replay entire songs in full brainal quality so I rarely feel the need to put them on the stereo or listen again, still doesn't hurt to get the led out every once and awhile 8)

Led Zeppelin is one of my favorite bands. Once I heard words of John Bonem "It will be end of Zeppelin when someone die. And think it will be me". Music and life of ZP was full of magic. They are one of the greatest chapters in rock'n'roll history

I used to be a huge Led Zeppelin fan. I've been losing my taste for them bit lately though. They are very over rated, like many classic rock bands, people have a biased against the because of how good they were for their time. Just because Page was in the top best of teh early 70s, does not mean he is the greatest guitarist to ever live.

Reeaally hit and miss. Came up with some awesome tunes and some completely pointless ones as well. And Page was nowhere near as good a guitarist as Beck

I don't feel a thing when I listen to Led Zep, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath or any of the classic rock bands around at that time. I must have a big hole in my rock guitar playing soul because I'd rather listen back to the sound of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Frampton, Santana and Hendrix.

I'm pretty trustworthy though...honestly chaps, you can check my ebay feedback it's 100%!! :(

My first concert was Led Zepplin in '73 at Madison Sq Garden. I was 15 years old. Impressed the hell out of me, couldn't believe Page. They were definatley a great band for their time, no doubt.
