It is very nice that Steve Vai tell us about the inspiration and whole idea
behind each song. Often when you listen to instrumental music you
only have the title and the song and dont know what the composer
was thinking about when he/she wrote the song.
So I think it is very interesting to read comments from the composer
about the song, and it gives the song a whole new dimension for me.

Also nice that he included some detail about the recording, guitars used etc.

Great work!

And it is like a puzzle now with the artwork too :D
Hmmm I cant figur out what it is yet...

Yeah, they said it was the album cover.

The first track "Building the Church" looks really cool. And the tapping riff in the solo sounded really neat, too. I can't wait to hear that. A heavy opening, just like on Fire Garden.

This Pomposh character sounds interesting. I can't wait to feel what images the music induces when I'm listening. I hadn't been to the site all day, the new interface on the front page surprised me!

Really cool stuff. :D

I think this album sounds a lit bit like Passion and warfare but of course with some nice influences of all albuns of Steve. And as he said, at the first track He included a tapping sequence from Passion and Warfare days. Besides, the history itself sounds very interesting too and will provide some moments of reflections about spirituality.
Hey Mikey could you please put some previews of this track?(just 15 sec. PLEASE!!!!)

I'm so glad Steve decided to release a theme album like Fire Garden. I have a feeling this album will be quite special, with very rich textures and musical imagery. :)

Yeah, some days ago I was reading the Fire garden stories at Vai.com and I liked it very much. Now, for sure, like you said this album will be really special!
Btw, Mikey, Do you have some pics of Steve's amps used in this album?

One question : What is the next song?

(let's wait  )

The Ultra Zone was kind of a theme album, too, in a sense. But still, that was 6 years ago. It's about time we got a new one!
