Steve and Jean Michel Jarre could really make some awesome music together, right ;)?
I have found some similarities in their music as well.
So far a guitar and a synthesizer is the best combination I know.
Every syntesizer music fan already knows what I´m talking about.
"The music of Steve Vai and Jean Michel Jarre" is the album I´ve ALWAYS been dreaming about! oooh...*drools*

jeah , but not jarre . I would like to cross him with the Norwegian Band Jaga Jazzist (but they HATE steve , so i guess , no dice :P) ..
Im a big fan of synthy music. Nice programmed drums (like in Jaga , Homelife , Xploding Plastix etc) is really nice :D

No! Not Jarre (please!)

However I believe that if Steve would do some collaboration with Ozric Tentacles...
Now THAT project would be awesome!!

Why not?
I always thought Jarre was the best there is ;).
Anyway, I just want more guitar and synth based music ^^.
Love it!

Then check out Ozric Tentacles. Did you hear their stuff? I know that they performed in Finland a couple of years ago...

Ozric Tentacles?
Yeah, I´ve heard some great songs from them (Plasmoid, Chewier etc).
Their music sounds quite cool, especially with those sweet guitar solos, but those solos are a bit short.

And that's exactly why I suggested Vai!

XplodingPlastix, nice programmed drums?! i know they are, but i saw them play live a few months back and if you havent seen em yet, DO!! the drummer was just plain awesome, played everything as it was on the cd, just with an amazing edge and feel, and some improv. they're super-talented, those guys.
