I haven't heard the song in a LONG time, so can't quite remember a vocal solo, but YES, Devin Townsend is AMAZING!!!!!!

I like his new band too, Strapping young lad. I saw them on Headbangers Ball, and my brother was like they are so great, and they have a 50 year old lead singer. So i read about them in Guitar world and i saw his name, i was like no way its the same go. So i go on the web page and sure enough its the same Deven Townsend. He likes so different, but i guess we all change from 18 to 30.

the guy has guts though. he's balding at the top of his head, but he has long hair on the rest of the head.

hate that vocal solo on touching tongues though

A lot of people don't think of the voice as an instrument that way.

i always thought that was beautiful, but didn't want other people to hear it because i thought they would instantly think that vai was a freak and that i was a freak for liking him. after everyone fially heard it, they loved it to!

So if you had Touching Tongues on a stereo and someone walked in the room, would you skip to the next song, skip to the previous song, start it over, or fast forward through the vocal solo?

Hey, if that's what he felt at the time, more power to him for having the guts to share it with everyone. Sometimes emotions can't be put into words. Personally, I love the song
