I was at both Astoria gigs. Whispering A Prayer the second night was one of the most emotionally intense things I ever witnessed in my life. I'm absolutely positive that it will be on the DVD!

Does anybody know when the DVD will be out and whether it will be available in Australia? Thanks.

i think the main reason for me wanting this dvd is whispering a prayer, i saw him perform it live in dec 2001 on the alive in an ultra world tour, one of the best songs ever written.

I can't see that song not making it to the DVD. It obviously is a very special song to Steve as well as all of us. There's emotion in that song that just can't be faked. It's as real and genuine as it gets.

I was in Vicar Street in Dublin on the second night of the last tour. When Steve played Whispering a Prayer he got a 5 min standing ovatation. I have never experienced anything like it before. Mr Vai was almost in tears himself. The atmosphere was unreal and the Irish crowd were giving back to Steve what he had given to us in the song.
Steve you are an inspiration to us all. Please come back soon.

I was at the London Gig and the set list was awesome - I think you will be pleasantly suprised! It was a long set with pretty much everything you'd ever want to hear live and it was a really flowing performane really well put together and some funny outfits!
Oh yeah there was the most awesome drum solo from Virgil Donati - It was silly.
I'll say no more - don't want to ruin the suprise

Anyone who was at the Boston G3 show got a fairly entertaining intro to "Whispering A Prayer"

That song was the intro to the world of Vai I gave my girfriend . I almost feel bad cuz probably no other song of his will have the same impact on her. It is so simply beautiful. I love that man's work!
