I like David Coverdale better!!

but anyway, Vai is considered good on Celluloid Heroes, an excellent storyteller who can get people hooked on his tale...

"Rescue Me or Bury Me", "All About Eve" and "Brother" are the best for me. He sings very passionately in these songs.

I really enjoy the "Little Wing" cover on the G3'03 DVD. Vai's vocal performance is awesome!

Even though he doesn't actually say "Heads up!"...

It seems to me very close to "Heads up"! :o

So, what does he actually say?

Aha!... I see...

Or maybe it is Steve using some short of whammy pedal just like in the When I was a little boy piece...

"All About Eve" does it for me.
"I'll Be Around"- I think is sung by someone else unless I misread the liner notes.

Interestingly, I didn't like Devon Townsend too much with Steve, but I just got his "Accelerated Evollution" CD and it ripped my face off- especially cut#4-Dead Head. Stupid name, but one of the most beautiful HEAVY songs I've ever heard. Well worth it.....
