Some of the videos I have only have audio from the camera, but sound surprisingly good.

I´m pretty sure that these videos are great. I mean, videos of steve working in Harmony Hut would be really great.

Release the video bootlegs of the Metropole Orchestra shows !!! :D:D

I was there in Amsterdam and there was a camera on the balcony !!
Maybe it's just a tape for Steve, but for a few dollars or euros, I'm sure a lot of people will be interested even if it's an average quality tape !!

Your thoughts?

yeah the Jam was only available on that Mag (guitarist I think) from around 2001 to my knowledge.

I've not seen it available elsewhere - don't know if that helps at all.

Mikey wrote:Regarding "Mag Jam" - Steve and I actually didn't know this was already available. Could someone let me know what the details of the release are so I can update the description on the store?
Well, I found this track on a CD that I got from ebay. I don't really know the exact details, but I do remember that it was from a Guitar Magazine from the UK. I remember this being called "the techno song from Steve" on the Internet. I've had this track since 2001, or 2000.

I already own the original Morley CD, so I have it. I guess a lot of people don't. I remember these other rare songs:

1. The song that plays on the ALS video credits and on the ALS DVD menu.
2. A blues song that came on a guitar magazine in 1999
3. A rock song that came on a Guitarist magazine demoing the JEM 7BSB guitar in 1996
4. The songs from the Carvin Legacy demos

I guess there are a lot more. Maybe even, never before released songs anywhere. For example, "Burning Bush" is one I've never heard. I can hear how it relates to the "Ultra Zone" album.

I wish that we could constantly be buying stuff from this store. I'd pay for it.

PROBLEM!

#190 Post by anuj » Mon Sep 13, 2004 3:35 pm

Mikey:

Signed up and paid for the AAC versions, got download links - I tried to save the first, but it kept pushing data past the stated 3.5MB. I killed the download at ~13.5MB only to find that both links had expired.

Using Safari 1.2.3 on OS X 10.3.5.

Help!

This is a "soft launch" for forum members.

I'll announce it on the Vai.com homepage/News page in the next 24 hours or so.

Some live material would be nice. In the same way Metallica release all their tours to downlod...

Would love to download a gig from the recent G3 tours, although I imagien that would be far more complicated with regards to rights...

But just Steve's set would be good. And ALL of it, not just 3 songs liek we seem to get on the CD releases :D
