I just watched "Stillness in Motion", and the "front & Center" show... both were great. But I know Vai has several live DVDs.... just wondering what the Vai fans think is his best one?
For example, the Astoria one looks cool, probably has alot of the older stuff on it, and Billy Sheehan on bass? But then there's none of the newer Vai stuff....
Just curious what the Vai fans think...
Best Vai DVD?

I have only seen stillness once but right now I would pick Astoria
I've watched the Astoria one so many times, I can even remember a lot of the commentary from memory
For me, Steve's playing and tone is perfect on it, the setlist is perfect. I guess there are a COUPLE problems... Bad Horsie lacks punch, I think Billy's bass muddies it up a bit because he has a lot of background noise from the fancy lights. Just nitpicking though.

I'd have to say Wild Things......Maybe it's the special connection I have to it, as this was the first tour I ever got to see Steve. I'll never forget him coming out in that black robe and 20th Anniversary Edition JEM....just slaying everything with his arsenal. Oh, and can't forget Ann Marie Calhoun <3
