P&W Re-Issue: Do the alternate covers actually exist?

#1 Post by Xanadu7 » Fri Sep 22, 2017 9:55 am

I while ago there was a video of Steve Vai unwrapping his last release, and he stated in the video that there were alternate covers where the guitars had different colors. I've yet to find any alternate covers in any stores, so I'm just curious if these covers were actually produced/sold?

I've seen these images online, which must be from 3 different releases:

How would I go about tracking them all down? The only one I've ever seen is the last of the 3 linked above.

I think these were just done for/by Ibanez and Dimarzio

For the P&W Guitars and matching straps

I don't got $7000 to waste on the guitar but I do have those sky blue/pink dimarzio straps

There are 3 different covers, CD, digital release and the Vinyl.
