Windows to the Soul

#1 Post by Pavanelli » Wed Aug 17, 2016 10:15 am

I think, that between 10 of real Vai fans, at least 5 or even 6 will put this song on his personal top 10 favorite Vai Songs.

So my question is why Mr. Steve don't play this song live? I mean, there's the video of him playing in Sofia Bulgaria and thats it.

I keep trying to understand the meaning for Vai to not enjoy playing this song :(

Sorry the bad english

It is one of my favorite Vai songs. The melody, the phrasing, the rhythm, it is so wonderful. Sometimes, for me it goes even deeper than FTLOG.

I would expand this question on Warm regards. As far as I know he has never played that song live.

NFBOfficial, on there is one video of the song, live.

Also one of my favourite.
Sure brings back some memories from that time in my life every time I hear it.

Some "top 10" songs on that album for me:
- "OOOO"
- "Windows To The Soul"
- "Lucky Charms"

Alot of other great song on that album.
"The Blood & Tears", "The Ultra Zone", "Frank", "Jibboom", "Voodoo Acid", "I'll Be Around",
"Fever Dream".

Don't know why "Windows To The Soul" is not played so much live.
Someone could ask Steve that question, but he has alot of other songs we all want to hear.
