My last EVO experience in NYC 07' had a nice intimate Q&A session with Steve, followed by soundcheck, then a meet & greet (Steve and band)...included written score/s, laminate etc. preferential seating/standing positions. Oh and there was also a special word we said as a group that was recorded on video 8)

Hey to all members discussing the EVO Experience. I too was watching for the release and now have final secured my first EVO Exp tic for Perth show. Watching some of the US and European shows in Youtube, I think this is gonna be a great show. An the Concert Hall such a better venue than Metropolis. Saw Bonamassa there and it was awesome.

Does anyone know if you can bring your axe to the EVO Exp for signing?

^ good question. bring it just incase imo but you'll have to make sure you can store it somewhere after the EVO Experience. maybe your car or the venue may have a cloakroom? i've never been to the Perth Concert Hall before, best to email them about it :peace

I would advice against it.

Bring the back plate or a pickguard instead. You could take the risk, but chances are you're not allowed (by the venue) to take it into the concert, so you'd have to find a way to get it stored safely. And the venue (nor the vai tour) can take any responsibility if or when something happens to it.

Does anyone know which manuscript is being given out?

I got the framed For The Love Of God One, would be cool if it was a different one.

Can't wait for the show and EVO experience! :)

back plate, good one :peace

in 2008 for Club Joe I took my cheap Ibanez for Joe to draw on & sign. then I phoned my brother & he picked up my guitar for me.
the M&G was ~ 2hrs before the show and the venue wouldn't store the guitar, the venue being Metro Fremantle.
