I'm really stoked about this :D but I highly doubt the Naked Passes can be used.
what I'm wondering is do I buy a concert ticket via LiveNation or wait for vai.com to put up EVO tickets?
maybe concert tickets aren't included in the OZ tour? :?

Yes, very exciting and not too long to wait either! :)

From what I've read in the press release it looks like you buy a ticket as normal then you can add on the EVO experience afterwards through Vai.com

Hopefully someone official can confirm this is true. Bring on the long overdue solo tour :) \m/

thanks silverbettle. I think it works that way for CLUB JOE, though it was almost 5 years ago since I bought that.

edit: no sign of the Aussie tour dates on Vai.com :| I found out through
Thump Music via facebook.

I'm planning to go to all of the East Coast Aus shows if I can :)....you purchase EVO experience packages through vai.com on top of the standard tickets at livenation.com.au, did it in the US in 2007.

Looks like it'll be $250.

Is it worth the money?

Which song have people been getting recently for the score?

Also, is there a photo opportunity as part of the meet and greet? How long does it all go for?

So many questions!

Thanks in advance :)

Hello silverbeetle :)

I have not been too an EVO Experience but I paid a similar amount for CLUB JOE in 2008 and for me it was worth it.
It is alot of money but you get more time with Steve then lining up at signing etc. also you get to watch Steve's soundcheck :guitar soundcheck wasn't apart of Satch's CLUB JOE in '08 but priority entry for GA was so I got a rail spot :peace

I just bought my ticket for the Perth show via livenation's pre-sale :D :peace it's not front row but it's an aisle seat & I like those.

Hey BigBunny

Well, I'm going to do it... we don't seem to get many solo shows from Steve nowadays so might as well take up the opportunity while its available!

Just bought my tix for the Melbourne show... was not happy with the selection offered in the LiveNation presale so took my chances on the Ticketmaster presale, glad I did - front row! :)

Now to secure an EVO pass...

Hey silverbeetle,

you got front row! well done :D I took the seat offered by the pre-sale because it's an ailse seat, 7th row. I feel more comfortable in aisle seats, I had one when I bought a Platinum ticket for the 2nd Roger Waters THE WALL show here in Perth. that was 4th row and well worth the $400  :headbang Ticketek were selling Vai tickets for Perth & Sydney so i'm not sure if they had a presale?

I just went to purchase my EVO Experience and the link isn't up :| maybe it's 24th USA time?
that's another reason i'm happy with 7th row, we get to watch the soundcheck so i'll be up real close for that  :guitar

Hey guys, yeah hoping EVO tickets will be released soon it's the 28th here today. Was not happy about the Livenation presale offering but bought anyway, will definitely wait to buy better seats next time.

Nice work getting front row Silverbeetle! :peace

I should have waited for Ticketmaster's pre sale since Live Nation's didn't seem to include the first 6 or so rows..... and I ended up with a ticket much further back.

Oh well bring on the EVO Experience!! :headbang
