instrumental versions of non-instrumental tracks

#1 Post by overthelotus » Thu Jan 31, 2013 4:38 am

Is anyone else interested in hearing instrumental versions of non-instrumental tracks? In other words, music with the vocals and/or talking removed? I find the talking in "The Story of Light," for example, to be very distracting. It puts me on edge to the point where I can't enjoy the music because I know the talking part is coming up. But the music itself is absolutely incredible. I would also like to hear instrumental versions of "I Know You're Here" and "Under It All," among others. Are there programs I could use to remove the vocals? Does Steve have any plans to release instrumental-only versions of his music?

Also, speaking of "I Know You're Here," does Steve have any plans to create a studio version?

Just listened to "The Story of Light" again and the woman talking over the song still annoys the crap out of me. Anyone have a solution?
