Here´s a vid I haven´t seen before from the only Steve Vai tour I´ve personally missed so far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unYlIs9T ... re=related

Brings me to a conclusion: Steve + Devin = epicness in immesurable proportions! I know it will never happen BUT would it be great?

I hope someday that Steve Vai will be inspired to pull something out of the archives from the S&R tour and release it.

I believe the L.A. gig on the S&R tour was actually recorded on film....I've been hoping for a release of that for about 15years now...but somehow I don't see that happening any time soon...

I would buy a dvd of that gig. Shame Dev doesnt do anything with Steve anymore, good combo. i know every musician moves on, with Steve doing a guitar solo on Dev's Syncestra cd in about 2006, its a shame they couldnt do more together, and see'ing as though Dev does his solo stuff these days (as SYL is no more).

Yeah, definitely! I was there, it was amazing! Steve's role was actually quite significant...
the biggest surprise of the night was the 2 SYL songs "Detox" and "Love", when Jed Simon walked on stage and Devin launched into "Detox" the crowd went absolutely insane...what a show!
