The Story of Light Tour 2012

#1 Post by pdruh » Sat Sep 01, 2012 11:32 am

Hey guys! Let's use this topic to discuss and talk about the recent begun tour (finally!) :D

This is the thread for you guys post pictures, videos and reviews about it!

Let me start with an interesting thought I had. Steve is calling a person from the audience in every night, and he, the band and the person called "compose" a music right on the stage in real time. And as he does that he records the final music while playing for the audience.
Now, when he finishes his tour, I guess he will collect all of these recorded musics written by him around the world and build a Alive In An Ultra World part. 2!!! What do you think? Man I really hope he does that! If he do I will explode of thrilling and excitement!

Sorry for my bad english :(

Pedro Werner from Brazil!

You should've put a 'spoiler' warning on the post, Pedro!

There are a few clips of this on YouTube. I don't think the quality of what I've heard could seriously be made into an album. Certainly not one I would buy!

It's just a bit of fun and is a nice bit of audience participation. :)

he takes the idea of the live one: if its a good rythm or concept for a song for a song, he will take it and record it professionally i think

The Concert Review is there for reviewing. Just like the Photo Gallery and Discussion for the pics. Just post in the several topics regarding TSOLT here in AAS.

Youtube this: Steve Vai - 8-29-2012. I think Velorum and Gravity Storm came out very nicely. Plus it helped having great seats.
