I'm near sick of xmas music everywhere-
although i do like xmas music a lot...

two xmas songs they stand out from a guitar perspective is "Rockin Around the Christmas Tree" and "Jingle Bell Rock"
i think the guitar work on them is incrediable and genius...and i wanted to look up who played guitar on either of them
i figured it would be your typical bookerT/wrecking crew rhythm section studio musicians but the guitar on the recorded on those 2 recordings is from Hank Garland... the guy Steve Vai's movie Crazy is about....

random thought...

i never heard of any Hank or any of his work when the movie was released, but i now relized i do know his work (ps if those 2 songs are in the shown in some way in the movie itself i probably look like an idiot now sorry)

i'd really like to see the movie, i dont know anything on a dvd release or if its playing in theaters anywhere but i'd def see it the first chance i get.
