I just played them, pretty cool, although a lot of the things you do on a real guitar in these songs with effects and vibrato seem kind of lost, and they miss charting some notes. A little lazy, but I can finally jump around with a plastic controller and play a Vai and Satch song!

Just saw the news elsewhere.

I'm just happy it will expose them to a new audience.

Having just played Rock Band for the first time (this week), I have to say it's pretty cool. Guitar skills mostly help you in the finger sequencing sense. I got to finally try drums... although I imagine it's next to nothing like the real thing.
