Guitar Hero 3

#1 Post by TRIDS » Thu Jul 12, 2007 9:46 am

Vai should totally be in guitar hero 3 it would be so sick. SO many more people would buy it if he was in it. Also it could intorduce Vai's music to people who have never heard of him before. I mean how can he not be it they just based the battle mode on the premise of the crossroads duel.

Actually, I think more people would buy VAI if he was in it! I'm excited that one of the byproduts of the guitar hero craze is that so many people are being introduced to guitar oriented music. God knows they're not going to hear it on the radio. Hopefully GH3 will lead them down the path of other guitarists and Steve!

Oh, and what song of Steve's would you like to see featured?

I could see people breaking their wrists trying to keep up with Fire Garden Suite...

Ok...even better song for GH3: Speeding [Vault Version] It could be the last and most difficult song on the game!

So True! I would love it if Vai was in gh3 even though I don't have the system(s)... I could just use frets on fire though... Its a comp. game where you play guitar hero using your keyboard as a guitar! And you can download songs (including gh1 and 2 songs) to it and tab your own songs for playing it. And its all free

I don't understand the craze with the guitar hero games, they are rubbish and a waste of time. Why don't people spend their time learning the actual guitar, it would be a lot more productive.

Don't you think it will lead some to pick up the guitar?

I have been saying since guitar hero 1 that they need the DLR version of shyboy in one of them. Maybe we'll get lucky with this one :D

I think the fire garden suite would be cool in there. There is a similar thread to this on the guitar hero forums and they all want to see FTLOG, which I am not objected to at all.

There also is a Guitar Hero: Rockin the 80's. It has bands like Twisted sister, Bow wow (WTF?), and ummm.. Well I cant remember the others.

GH 3 and other GH tend to have vocals in the songs, ShyBoy would be amazing as it has a catchy hythm

I don't think the GH guitar has enough buttons to pull off a Vai song.
