If anyone wants to donate me an after pass or 2 for me and my buddy that would be insane. I can't afford EVO or I would have just done that. While I'm begging change...change...change....

That's what I'm going to end up doing (unless somebody is willing to make a trade with me ~ see my earlier posts). My wife loves Steve so I'm giving her my pass. It'd be VERY COOL to go in with her, but that's looking doubtful at this point. Either way it's going to be a hell of a show at the University of Buffalo!!!

Bugger, I'm going to the 22nd July Vai concert with my mate, I'm only a young'en (15). My mate got a pass and is a fanatic Steve Vai fan, so he really wants to see him after the show. Unfortunately I don't have one, but my mom doesn't want us splitting up, especially not for times of around an hour. I don't know what to do :( in the mean-time I'll buy more of the Cd's and hope one has a pass *sigh*.

PASS

#83 Post by powder » Thu Jul 12, 2007 9:42 am

I was one of the lucky guys who own an aftershow pass but I have one question to mike.

Can the pass be used in the Romarock festival (16 july)?

And also will vai be playing more european dates at the end of the year or America will be the final stop?

10x

Regards

Waiting to hear from someone that's experienced the aftershow pass - as I've got one in my sweaty palm for Chicago! :)

hehe be sure I will share my experience with all of you :D I want to correct a mistake made in my last post, the date is 20 instead of 16 (I was watching too much dates and flights these couple of days so I got confused:S)

For all those of you who will be watching Steve......lets have fun cuz this is the time of our lives

congrats to all that got a pass, I too received a pass in the cd, awesome discovery and great idea. Now that i'm all set with my ticket and pass i've got a decision to make and i'm not sure which direction to go, maybe someone can help me out. what should i bring to get signed??
poster, CD...or dare i bring...a JEM?
i try not to even think of actually having the JEM signed hanging on the wall in front of me while i play. this experience alone is crazy enough right now to think about!
Has anyone brought a guitar to get signed to a concert before any tips?

yes, try getting it signed somewhere you don't normally touch.. a friend of mine had his signed on the main body and the first time he played it it started to smear and get rubbed out
of course, if you've got the money to afford keeping a perfectly good jem on the wall and never playing it again, that's another story

edit: today i went out and bought a white t-shirt, i hope i can get the whole band to sign it for me

thanks for the advice, your right about the place to get it signed. i think towards the bottom would be good, that spot doesn't wear for me.

I'm bringing just the Jem pickguard. it's light and easy to carry, not to mention a lot cheaper than a $2100 guitar. the guitar can come later, or i can just hang it on the wall next to the P-bass pickguard Billy sheehan signed on the Bx3 tour :D

I just got mine in the mail and received a satin pass. If anyone isn't going to a show and would like to donate another one so my wife could come with me, it would be greatly appreciated.
