well the day steve vai is comin to town is within days of my 16th birthday. my parents aren't really big on going to the whole evo experience thing but will be willing to drop me off. is there anyway i could possibly go to that when im under 16? i would have a friend with me that is 16 if that helps. I REALLY want to go to this...

I want to go to the minnesota 19th of september show.

Edit:

well now my situation has changed. one of my parents has agreed to go but now its going to be me and a friend who are both under 16. do we each need an adult or can one adult get us both in? The way the Evo experience rules are worded we were not sure.

Mickey, I believe this question will make anxious lots of fans in America  ! What is the price for tickets for the Evo Experience in the USA? Will there be more than 30 tickets?
With respect, Leviafan

Hey Mikey, I'm planning on attending EVO at the show in Royal Oak, MI. I'm 16 and I called the venue to see if the show was all ages, but they told me they wouldn't know until the regular tickets go on sale. I would like to buy my EVO ticket when it goes on sale tomorrow, but I don't want to find out its 18+ afterwards. Could you shed any light?

Thanks,

s

Looking at the presale website, I see that there are only three dates listed for tomorrow's EVO Experience presale (NV, CT, RI). Will the EVO Experience be available for all the other dates? If so, will they be onsale tomorrow, or just those three shows?

Hello Mikey, just a few questions :)

-What exactly is the "meet and greet" after the show? It states in the EVO rules that EVO tickets do not allow access to the meet and greet. What does? I'm assuming that the EVO experience goes on before the show then? Approximately what time (if people are supposed to show up at about 3pm that day?)

-Flash photography is not allowed. That simply means that people using the flash on their camera's isn't allowed but the Vai rules allow cameras when the flash is turned off? (I will still be checking with the venue though, as per EVO suggestion).

-About how long will I have to purchase my EVO ticket when they go on sale tomorrow? (like... an hour... a day... two weeks... until they are sold out?) Or is that too hard to estimate?

-When will the regular tickets be on sale and how much will they be?

-You say the venue will sell you a chunk of front-row seats for the EVO ticket holders. Is there no guarantee of good seating if they mess up and we end up far from the front for some reason?

-Will we get one-on-one time with Steve at all? (I know he is really really busy, but I'm just wondering if there would be a couple of minutes for each of us, outside of the pre-show Q&A?)

-Is the soundcheck we are able to go to before 3pm that day?

-Will people be able to exit the venue after 3:30 pm but before the show starts that night? (I'm talking about like 5 minutes - my mother smokes and would get scared if she couldn't exit for a smoke break).

Ok, that's all of my questions. Sorry there were so many! I deeply appreciate any answers. Thank you!!
Angela :D

$262 8)
Tickets in the USA will be cheaper than that. They'll be around the $190 mark including fees.

I am not aware of this being an 18+ show. The Royal Oak Music Theater is a theatre, not a club - so I see no reason why it would be an 18+ show.

Other tickets will also be on sale. they aren't visible yet.

The only exception may be Vegas and Phoenix - as the tour dates have been swapped:

9/7 Las Vegas NV at House of Blues
9/8 Phoenix AZ at Marquee Theatre
