Thanks 2 ur quick info Lucky7, I managed to get front row tickets!!! can't believe it so stoked! I enjoy lining up and the excitement of anticipating getting top tickets as well, but just as happy to have what I have right now, kinda makes up for not being able to get EVO tix this time round.
I wish I had the ticket before the day too.
Cheers Prev :D

I'm not sure whether to wait to get tickets to the other Melbourne shows or whether to put up with possible bad seats for the first one..

How long does it usually take for the payment to go through after you've purchased the tickets? :?

Thanks,

Just bought my Satch Gold VIP tickets....

Exy... but sooo worth it....7th row!!!! :D

Can't wait.... once in a lifetime this is..... I wan't going to skimp on general admisssion tickets....

Though, I don't get birthday or christmas presents for the next few years

EDIT: Also realised that my ticket is GG, seat 7 and eight.

So thats row 7, seat 7... Isn't 7 a lucky number in the Vai community :D :D

This is all confusing...

The Sydney venue is all floor... Unless they're putting seats in... But for everything else I've been to there it's been all floor.

And all you guys are talking about row's at the other venues with these "GOLD tickets". Soooo I have no idea what the hell is going on now.

And also there's this presale thing going on.. What the hell?

There are the Gold and Platimum tickets.

For Brisbane, when you add the tickets to your cart, you are reserver a seat and row number for 10 minutes. (You have 10 minutes to pay for it)

Then if you go to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre website, you can lookup the G3 concert and the floorplan.

The Floorplan shows you where you will be seated.

Not sure on Melbourne and Sydney though.

Another question for anyone else, is that it says you get your tickets at Will-Call. Can anyone go indepth on what this means.
Will we receive info on where this Will-Call is?

cheers,
Mark

"Will Call" is the American term for picking up already purchased tickets on the night of the show from the ticket office at the venue. Don't ask me why it's called "Will Call".. but there you have it.

Really!

Thats cool.... for you!

So did I spend extra money on a VIP ticket, when I could have got closer with a presale ticket anyway?

Because they were only like $110 instead of the extra for the Gold VIP.

That sucks if that is the case.

What venue are you at? And is the second row right in front of stage or to the sides?

My concern is that to get a decent seat, I paid more money for a Gold VIP Seat and got in the 7th row instead of gambling on the presale stuff. And yet you appear to be able to do presale for $110 and get an even closer seat.

Im confused... How does that work... I mean sure there is the shirt and stuff anyway...
Oh well... Im going at least!

yeh man - i feel for you. you should've definatley gotten the best seats for what you paid. buying tickets is so hit and miss. even on the ticketek site they say that presale tickets dont guarantee preferential seating - seats are from throughout the venue. so i was expecting most of the front area to have been snapped up by VIP tickets... i was very pleasantly suprised to get what i got.

I heard chilli peppers fan club tickets were seats at the back :| i really think platinum, vip... whatever deal you're paying extra money for should definately get the best seats... bit of an insult.

anyhow, that venue is awesome and i'm sure you'll have an awesome view... i'm tucked away on the last two seats on the right.

This show is going to be mental :D

Aw man! My husband accidently only put 1 ticket in when he was buying our tickets online and had to go back to buy another one for me and by the time he did that our seats are like 7 rows apart!

Ticketek won't do anything about it because the tickets are online only.

:(
