G3 2006/7 !
I wonder...
Perhaps Jeff Beck or Van Halen? Joe has said that those two would be his ideal G3 partners so... you never know. I personally would like to see Eric Johnson, that would be great. And John Petrucci..that would be awesome too... and Andy Timmons would be awesome!

If Vai can't attend, then let's see Satch, Paul Gilbert and either:
1) Yngwie Malmsteen
2) George Lynch
3) Eric Clapton (I'm curious to see what the Jam's would be like)
Maybe even Zak Wylde. But someone who's been around a while, no new rookies! But definitely Paul Gilbert. Ever since I saw that pic that's been floating around on the Vai.com forums a few months back with Paul Gilbert on stage with Vai, Petrucci, and Satch with other guitarists, I knew this could happen. When it does, make sure to DVD it! I would definitely buy it. Plus, P.G. is working on a new instrumental guitar album...just like Petrucci was when he did the 2005 G3. Awesome coincidence. If you're out there, Paul, PLEEEEEEEEEEASE, for the fans! If not now, at least when Vai is back in G3 action!

I honestly really don'y want to see Yngwie. I saw him and his stage perssonality is horrid, his playing is repetitive and I'm not a fan.

I'd love to see Kiko in there somewhere...I guess those chances aren't too good.
