I don't think you see Nuno doing a G3. He always said he wasn't a guitarist first and foremost.

I was suprised he did Guitar Wars, so maybe there's a chance. What a show that would be though. Plus, I wouldn't mind seeing Steve play Get The Funk Out!

I'd replace Buckethead everytime :)

who would you wana see Slash?
Ok :) I thought so. Slash is my favorite guitarist, but this kind of thing is really not suited for him.

Maybe it's about time to bring in some fresh blood, so that people will open their eyes for the new generation of guitar virtuosos.

While I know G3 is Joe and Steve's baby - I'd love to see some fresh faces! My immediated pick would be Paul Gilbert - I'd love to see him and his Makita! :)

Satch said the plan is to have Petrucci and Eric Johnson (didn't mention Vai) - planning to start in S.America end of the year.

If it were to be Joe, Steve, and one of the "next generation of guitar virtuosos", i'd totally wanna see JerryC out there playing with them!!!

Where did you find this? I really hope Petrucci and Johnson are in the next G3.

But while we're listing our perfect G3's....

EVH (playing circa '95)
Petrucci
Vai

Realistically....Vai, Petrucci, and Lukather.
