No, I won't...That's a detail my girfriend might care about reading a Cosmo, but to actually take time out of your day to find out these little personal details is a little creepy.
That's the cool thing about the internet. If you find something you don't like, you don't have to spin your wheels on it... instead... read on... just like I'm goind to do now 8)

It is well known that Steve is anosmic because of his Venusian roots-the sulphuric acid vapours would hurt their noses so he has no sense of smell.

So, how does Steve smell? Terrible!

Again; men use cologne, women use perfume. Generally speaking, cologne is not as strong as perfume. Personally, I use neither. After showering, I just dust off with some baby powder & use some anti-perspirant. I don't know what it is, but some chicks really dig the smell of baby powder!

Well, backstage at Manchester I saw Steve rubbing himself down with a stick of GHS Fast Fret-the fragrance of a true guitarist! He then slid right along the stage at a rapid rate of knots smack bang into his Carvin stack. It looked painful.

So tell us,lotus_girl! What did Mikey say? Is it Kenzo Air, Issey Miyaki, Old Spice? I'd love to know since it's a really defining aspect of Steve's character, musicality and guitar technique

i am thinking that i shouldn't tell you when you're being that sarcastic, but alright (what to do about this good heart of mine) he said vanilla fragrance from body shop. but i don't think that body shop has mens fragrances... so that confused me.

Oh, I'm only pulling your leg, lotus_girl! I don't mean anything by it!

Bodyshop does do men's fragrances (and the best aftershaving gel ever!), but who says he has to use a 'male' fragrance? Women's perfumes are often better than the male versions Paco's Ultraviolet for example. So perhaps he goes for the actual smell rather than what it says on the bottle.

As a digression, when I was a younger man my best friend and I used to memorise the smell of all the women's perfumes in the local department stores (I have a very keen sense of smell and even better memory!). Then when we were in a club, tryng to chat up girls, we'd go up to them, breathe in deeply and say, "Oh you smell lovely! Is that XXXXX?". It never failed to impress and get a conversation, and occasionally more, going! Our other 'trick' that seemed to impress was to never write down their phones numbers when offered at the end of the night-we'd say, "Don't worry, I could never forget your face, how could I possibly forget your number?". They were even more shocked when we actually called then back! I still remember perfumes from the mid/late 80s and occasionally the girls who wore them!

Anyway-vanilla, eh? It's a well known aphrodisiac not least because of it's association with chocolate!

Again, another person who thinks Vai is God... He's human, why would anyone care about what cologne he wears unless they are a complete fanatical nut? Some of you guys need to do something else with your lives besides worshipping Vai...it's a very unhealthy obsession...there is more to life than Steve Vai!!!
Have You ever met him? If not, You wouldn't understand. I've met him at G3 Tour in Poland and it's not only about super fast licks and great melody. It's about personality, individuality. His person itself. I think that maybe he's not god, but he could be. Someone have written on forum this sentence: "There couldn't be a film about him, cause he had too wonderful life"... :)
