I would guess it would give the acoustic part a very unique sound at the very least. Will be great to hear this guitar in the future! :D

I love the shirt and the trousers I mean that man has style though...

Ok the guitar. I like it. The color is brilliant. The way it looks is just bloody nice.

On "the very first acoustic/electric," I remember a Carvin catalog a couple years back with Slash playing something like this. I'm sure it's floating around somewhere on the vastness of the 'net.

Still, sweet-ass couple of guitars.

In something like that, I assume the acoustic half is going to be based around piezo pickup for live use so the actual acoustic sound isn't that important, and its not a full depth body either, its not going to sound like a $3000 Martin unplugged but who cares, it looks damn cool

hmm.... is the electric fretboard ebony and the acoustic one rosewood?

Sorry, I'm not gay...
But the way he dresses. It's brilliant. Only one man did it better. Freddie Mercury, I mean you must be really nuts to walk in a leather suit on a warm stage... :P 8)

What a great guitar! But I'm almost sure Ibanez won't release it to the public :( And besides, It would be very expensive.

But who knows...

It's awsome, I suppose the Ibanez custom shop could make another one for someone other than Steve, but I wouldn't want to be the person paying for it ;)

peace
