sorry for the pic being big..but..
This, my friends, is Steve Vai's EXACT rig. everything steve uses, is all right here. this is a friend of mines, not mine, but i get to jam on it :D. this pic does not get all the pedals, but you get the idea.

I'm with B2,,, I saw the fishing poles first. LOL... you would think that with all that gear in the picture that the last thing you would be staring at would be the fishing rods? LOL.

I'd be interested in reading the ingredients of the the rack selection. Some of the items don't look familiar to me. Then again,,those damn fishing rods are distracting me.

Even with all that gear it's still not gonna sound like vai unless youve got Thomas and steves techs telling you all the settings for the racks.

Still loving it

woah, that's a big rig  maybe just a little bit overkill or is it just me? he sounds more like Satch than Vai imo.

wow, interesting.

you'd think he'd want to buy some stuff that he's tried and tested himself though...not just what Steve uses. I mean, steve's a great starting point and the rig sounds great, but....

Isn't he just going to be called a Vai wannabe?

The farthest I'd go is buying a Jem, and maybe one of the official Vai pedals. I want to try out the gear I buy myself. If I ended up using Legacy amps or an H300 Harmonizer or any of that Vai stuff, so be it, but I'm not going to trust it only because Steve uses it.

Still, very cool.

Not exactly! Steve says he uses Ernie Ball 9's, not D'Addario 10's!

Hah, just had to find some little thing to make myself "feel better". That's a powerful rig.
