As I'm sure like many Vai fans, I'm an old Bill and Ted fan and I think he was using the Jem that had a Paf Pro in bridge and neck and a singlecoil ISCV2 in the middle around this time, has he confirmed which guitar/pickups used around the time of recording the soundtracks to both movies?
I can't seem to find an iscv1 anywhere, nor can I a Jem single, is the iscv2 close enough? Or is there something currently available that would be?Unicornex wrote:Dont know but the Middle pickup is not Iscv2, the older jems has the iscv1 or jem single witch is basicaly a dp110 moded
Jem single, or ISCV1 are not for retail market, Paul Gilbert models had dp110 and in the 1996 Was Changed for the jem single so i think its close. With PAF pros you can combine the hs-2 dp116 in no hum wire, only single mode red and White and this is the closest sound that have to the jem single. Look at DiMarzio page. In the catáloGS apears the dp110 number so. I m not expert, but i think that this people can confirm.http://www.ibanez.com/anniversary/expan ... =137&now=1
