:headbang The guitar store I teach lessons at is making an Ibanez order today and I got to look at the 2013 products catalog. Looks like lots of cool new stuff including the new Jem 7V7! which is a seven string version of the Jem 7V with all of the great features of the Jem7V like the vine inlay, white finish, gold hardware, except it says it has Blaze Pickups and LoProEdge7 bridge. Anyway, it looks way awesome! Ibanez doesn't have any info up on their website yet about this though, probably waiting for the NAMM show. They are also doing a bunch more Premium models including a Premium JS model and a new whammy bar for the Edge bridge.

a new. Bar itself, or a new bridge?

Just the bar-

Quote:
UTA20 - Ultralight Tremolo Arm

All JS and JEM's will come with one, and the regular bar. It's a bar made from a carbon fiber shaft affixed to the shank of a regular bar. It is very lightweight.

You can also buy as a part, list $124, I have them coming in. $90.

That's from Rich Harris from IbanezRules.com.

really? I tht universes were never going to have a monkey grip. Well, never to late to change. And what makes thus bar so special besides the new material? Dies it really do anything but last longer? What's it like trying to flutter it?
