I'm judging after what I've heard. But yes, I like his TC tone better than the current one.

I'm sure you can hear the diff - they are 2 very different guitars. Flo has an exceptionally good sounding body.

The rubber band, btw, is for a pull/push switch.......

Yeah, that's true. I always knew there was something special about Flo. As you have written, they are very different guitars, and the difference really reflects on the sound.

Aaaaaaaah finaly! :peace

Sorry EVO fans, but in my humble opinion FLO is the best sounding jem I ever heard (she has some kind of warmth in her tone).

This is Flo, isn´t it? Looks like she got the true temperament neck now :D

Another video here:

Notice the tape has been removed. Also the back of the neck can be seen (LACS).

for the all about flo section- are you going to use original flo or flo III, or both?

yeah I have, I'm really excited to see flo. I'm excited to see flo, I want to see flo played live. Flo and evo are the two of the vai guitars, flo III Dosent do it for me. Evo and flo are the classic guitars, so I want to see flo live. Flo III feels like a lie ;)

They are both different guitars with their own specific qualities. Obviously Flo has a unique history while Flo III is still fairly young. But I'm sure both will get the attention on vai.com they deserve ;)

does Steve know about our almost comical obsession with spotting our little "flo sightings"? Why DOES he keep using flo III? Why not put the TT neck on flo III and put the scalloped neck or flos old neck back on flo?

Saw Steve live December 8th, I've attended Evo Experience too, everything was fucking awesome, played with Evo a little bit, she has the True Temperament, Bo was there, Flo III too with a black sustainer witch was a little weird, but FLO was nowhere to be found, I love that guitar, I have a FLO replica, It's sad that FLO wasn't part of this tour, nothing wrong with FLO III, but it's sad

There's a lot of people that do Evo experiences- why dosent anybody think to ask Steve why he hasn't been using flo? I would have thought a lot of people willing to do the Evo who were big fans would have asked and written the answer somewhere.

I have a feeling that Steve will use flo more often now that Evo has the TT frets back on- it would be interesting to see if Steve tries to have flo III with a TT neck that's scalloped. That should be an interesting thing to see.
