Of course I don't think that. But there may not have been one available from whichever company the band rented the gear from at the start of the tour.

I'm sure they wouldn't rent entirely new gear at every city they go to - it would be with them from the beginning of the tour until the end, in most cases.

and I am sure (pretty much..) that Steve puts a Fender between his speakers, because he wants a Fender, and no Legacy.

He´s got three Legacys with him most of the time, one for backup, so what would he need another combo for?

It's entirely possible that he wants a Fender sound, and I don't deny that, but it's also possible that he's rented the amp because a Legacy combo wasn't available - as has happened numerous times in the past.

Steves using it in conjunction with the legacy's (x2), which you may not see 'cos they're usually stage left behind the sidefills. He's a perfectionist.....So I'd say he's using it to add something to his sound, in a soundcheck he solo'd the monitoring for it & it had a pretty overdriven brittle hi tone setting, likely it adds some cut to his onstage monitoring sound, which would make sense since his ears are usually stuffed with cotton wool during the gig. :)

I still think it's for his acoustic guitar or his double-neck. I mean come one, all of a sudden he gets a new double-neck with an acoustic side and whoop a new amp appears on stage.

Im pretty sure Mickey is in direct contact with Steve...

Why doesn't HE email steve and we can sort this out once and for all.
I mean after all Steve's gotta have some reason for using a new amp and who best to ask than Steve himself!!!!!

My bets still on Steve wanting a fender sound or its for an acccoustic....

Considering that this and the "New Legacy" threads are popular, I'd think Mikey would have commented by now if he was at liberty to.
