@ Jeroen....... I was just wondering if you could pass on the information on how steve linked the Lil Alligator Volume pedal to the G-System?

back when I bought my G-System, TC could not help me!?! and now that I see he has his pedal running the system that maybe some advice could be given?

I didn`t want to sell it and thats why I waited. as I had mentioned to you before, There are no Techs in Germany?? I would have paid them for the work but there are none to be found!

Can you help???

regards,

alex

I love coming in here and seeing how everyone spends all this money and wastes all this time with what they think Vai is doing or did do or something. Does anyone know why he left the G-system so quickly if it was doing everything he said it was? I heard the MAN was so happy with all floor effects which in truth most of the effects never changed for example the Jemini, the phase 90,the whammy pedal or the little alligator for volume and the bad horsie pedal and his Boss distortion pedal on the back end.. All of this is the same but we go from a rocking G-System to the Axe FX II which seriosly is another Modulater with AMP and Head sounds and mixes as well as all the other delays ,pitch ,comp, reverb, boost and filter section. He had no reason like I said to switch but he did, I hear nothing different in his sound from either system..Now I did hear a sound difference when I saw him use a Legacy 3 but in truth everytime I see him he has 2 Legacy ORIGINAL Heads and a stack of 3's for back up WHY? Why even create the 3 if he prefers the Original Legacy. I know for a fact he parted ways with most if not all Legacy 2 just didn't like it (Guy wanted alot of money for it just because it belonged to Steve even had his address on the shipping label)..I come to this site to get news or find presets for G-System or whatever he is using. He stopped using the Eventide for a while which was sweet but who knows he is the reason alot of us went out and bought that 3 thousand dollar machine just to have in our rack..
I dont care if people like what I say but it is the truth and the reason I dont come here everyday.. I don't own a JEM like the rest of you do I had a custom String Thru Version Made for me and I call it the ELITE because it's one of a kind same everything necks ,colors, dips just no trem for my style and yes I bought a Legacy 1 and sold my custom CRATE Blue Voodoo 120( Marty Friedman and Megadeth model) and my MESA (John Petrucci model) so I could have something with some natural hair as Steve called it and I don't regret my sales(actually I miss my CRATE Excalibur),I still believe from all the interviews he wants us to learn from him not copy him much like the reason for the Naked tracks but hey who knows.. The couple times I paid out the asshole to get a full experience a few of us didn't get a hello much less a conversation to find out the real reasons behind his comments ( Not worried about it,Just always had a question for him just never been in the right place at the right time for him)..It's funny tho I just bought a regular ticket and had real full length conversations with , George Lynch, Mike Portnoy and John Petrucci,Marty Friedman,Tommy Lee and Nikki Sixx, Chris Impelliteri, Chris DeGarmo and Michael Wilton and became friends with Harry K.Cody so LIFE GOES ON AND THATS ALL FOR ANOTHER DAY....

What is quick? He used it for about a year and a half.

Perhaps here lies the foundation for your...confusion. Just because you don't hear any difference, doesn't mean there isn't, or that no one hears a difference. There's quite a bit of difference between the G-system and the Axe-fx.
.Now I did hear a sound difference when I saw him use a Legacy 3 but in truth everytime I see him he has 2 Legacy ORIGINAL Heads and a stack of 3's for back up WHY? Sorry, I have trouble following what you're going on about here. But I'm sure everything will work out for you.
