-Gosh- Is he now using the new G-system? I see he still has his trusty TS/DS1 combo.

does anyone know how the g-system compares to the g-force?
I've seen the demo video on tcelectronic.com & it seems like the perfect unit but is there anything lost compared to the original g-force?

I believe that sound quality wise it's on par with the GeForce in regards to the analogue/digital conversions. The G-Force has more odd ball effects, such as the one heard in "Yai Yai", but the G-System can add effects before your signal hits your preamp (Wah, Compression, etc...) which the G-force can't as it's used in the effects loop.

the thing I like about it is that you can take the unit out of the floorboard & mount it in a rack along with your other stompboxes & the floorboard will control everything.
it also has amp switching & a usb port.

I thought the "Yai Yai" effect came from a "Zoom" unit.

No, Yai Yai is the Eventide. Meow Meow is the Zoom (Glorius).
