Just curious.....
Is there any particular reason why the only time I ever see Steve
with his 7vsbl is during the Aching Hunger shows?

Ibanez or local shops lend him guitars sometimes for certain shows where he doesn't want to/can't use his main touring guitars as far as I know.

Just as he does with his Carvin amps, if he needs to use another one as there's a problem with his usual amps he'll try to borrow one from a shop, use it, sign it or something then give it back.

Mikey will probably give more info XD

yeah, that makes sense....
Maybe Flo is a "carry on" & the other equipment is borrowed
from the local music stores.
maybe the blue one belongs to someone like Jereon?

the blue jems came from the ibanez importer in holland.
they sent them to me and i did the set up and gave them to Steve.
it's as simple as that.

Patrick, Do you happen to remember the measurements on the action and pickup height that you did?

The sparkle blues you set up for Steve, or did you set up each differently?

the VSBL was setup different than the DBK and FLO.
the VSBL was tuned down to D and had to have a little more neck relief.
otherwise it would buzz(also because it wasn´t one of the best necks; not bad but also not perfect)
Flo's neck had a relief of just a little more than 0.25 mm.
stringheight was about 1,2 mm at the high E side and 1,9 at the low E side.

Thank you very much! I always wondered how he likes to have his action. Were the measurements at the 12th or the 24th fret?
