I've always enjoyed Steve's guitar playing, and I didn't want to say anything personal, but the vibe of the show was to me, a guitar shred-off. I would rather hear some songs or some compositions.
You may be interested in knowing that Linda Ronstat is going back on tour... :wink:

uhhh i would suspect he does what every other guitarist does and changes them himself...... :wink: im sure he wouldnt break strings often enough for him to need someone to change em for him..

yeah i was givng an example.. i happen to own a custom jem from LGM so i know the pricing. where else are you gonna get a jem neck with a full inlay AND the steve vai inlay? gotta be custom..

probly custom made maybe by LGM guitars or similar companies... they wouldnt want to take out the large Inlay at the 24th fret because it would be tuff to fill it, they prolly took out the dots and crappy inlay and continued it all the way along the neck and filled it with MOP, keeping the Steve vai...

some guitars you dont have to rout for a sustainer.. look at the sustainiac site.. theres a sustainer that clips onto yout headstock and works like the pickup sustainers do.. just sucks cause you then have cords hanging from your headstock..
