Re: Take a look at this

Since my english is too bad to explain it in english, and since I know you are a dutchy like me  , I'd rather explain the sound in dutch: NL: Toen ik vier jaar geleden naar een serieuze kit zocht, zocht ik naar een steve smith...

Re: Take a look at this

Funny you say a Hagstrom, as they are really nice guitars, but that would be a Gibson Les Paul, tee hee. You're right, it does look like a Super Swede, doesn't it? My dad has crazy heavy sticks, Head Hunter CC's, I've learned to like them, too. Anything lighter I would break (but I have broke a CC ...

I just noticed, he also has the same dampener rings , What next, same sticks? :D :) hehe yeah I use (like about 70% of all drummers in the world) Vic Firth 5A's (so there's quite a big possibility that he uses the same sticks) they just seem to be so well balanced for my hands. to anuj : Y...

Re: Take a look at this

Wow man, thats nice! My father has a set o' DW spider pine series. As far as I'm considered, i think he uses the same skins as you. Adn those drums sound amazing! His heads don't have a Pinstripe, but he has Remo, Coated Ambassador snare, powerstroke III's.... P.S, I'd leave the powerstroke on. I t...

After years of hard work, saving all the money I got it is finally there and finished: my drumkit! Latest expansion are paiste 5 series 8 inch splash, a stagg 8" china splash and an xtra snare drum (10 x 6,5 inch for some proper 'trying to do what donati does') whatta ya think of it? I love her... s...

Re: Maybe a new amp...don´t really know which one!

A friend of mine has a fender twin reverb and it has one of the nicest tones I've ever heard.

and as said before: For the Fender clean there is simply no comparison. Extremely clear, beautiful clean sounds

Re: Website updates

I would like to see photo's of his gear... The guitar section seems good enough but I would like to see some sort of flash based 360 degrees photograph of one of mr Vai's studios where you can click on a certain amp, effect, etc. and get info and a more detailed picture of it. That would be really a...

Here's what I'm thinking of using for a sound card. http://pro-audio.musiciansfriend.com/product/MAudio-Audiophile-2496-PCI-Digital-Audio-Card?sku=701341 I have that card myself and I am completely happy with it... the new upgraded software is also a lot better than the old and it works fine with s...

Re: Andy Timmons Back With Ibanez

YEAH I really like it that Andy is doing better and better... I followed his carreer for almost 10 years now and I think he should get more credit for what he does the best: playing the guitar like no other can (especially that damn amazing tone of him 8) )

Re: here is the Legacy II

I must say I totally dig the new Legacy... To me it looks good but for amps it should be tonal quality and versatility first and looks second. $1900,- for the combo seems like a fair price to me... considering amps of other brands with similar specs (ENGL, Mesa Boogie, Marshall, Hüghes and Kettner, ...
