Tommy has to be the natural contender for the G3 gigs since he's sufficiently different from Vai and Satch to be interesting, but expert enough to make the jams really exciting.

Thing is Robert fripp was exactly that but he didnt go down to well with some idiots.

I think Mikey said the DVD would not take the form of one show but maybe a collage (spelling?) of different shows or a documentary following the band throughout the tour or something.

Did Steve not say he was planning on having a rest at home for 3 years?
