Thanks soo much to Robert, Steve and Joe for putting on the most amazing show I have ever seen, and probably will ever see (at least until the Royal Albert Hall Show next Tuesday). Without giving too much away, Jan Hammer stole it for me.

The bassist and drummer are incredible, cant remember their names but they are brothers, possibly African.

...Jeff was just Jeff. Sublime.

Jeff Beck - No earplugs

Went to see Jeff Beck and Jan Hammer at the Clyde Auditorium last night (awesome show, but G3 will be better  )

I didnt need earplugs at all.

I take it from the previous earplug debates that G3 will be MUCH louder?

First three shows of G3 04

I know there was a previous thread about set lists but that just showed the set list for the gig in Holland.

Have all three of the shows so far had the same set list?

Were any of the set lists changed? (ie steves, joes or the jam)

Have any of the set lists been cut down at all?

I have been to a heap of concerts and have never once worn ear plugs. I saw Satch in Glasgow on his Joe Satriani tour (circa ...
