Well did not know what to expect this time around after the RI tour Glasgow 2005 which was amazing. I really enjoyed last night and thought the whole band were excellant!!! If Steve was ill, hats off to him for performing a great show and making the effort for Scotland!!! The carling is a crap venue...

The Academy has a baggage bit upstairs where you pay £1 to keep your stuff and you get a ticket. I was there 2 weeks ago for Zakk Wylde and thats what happended then! :)

The Academy is not the best venue for Vai I personally think! The royal concert hall was perfect in 2005. In the Academy you will get a good view, although stay well clear of the stairs, bouncers tried to chuck my wife out at the Black Label Society gig a few years ago for just trying to see the sta...

We can only thank you for this gig from all the Scots!!! Glasgow 2005 was immense and the EVO was well worth it. May do it again!!! Look forward to seeing you Mr Vai for No 7th time and good luck to the new band!!!! :D

It sucks big style!!!! I have to travel 320 miles round trip to Glasgow each time!!! I dont envy it cause I did the Astoria DVD gig in 01! Try the Ironworks in Inverness or the rockness gig at Loch Ness. I'll take you to Boleskine House where Jimmy Page once had!!! :D

I travel 370 miles return each time to see Vai and sometimes Satch from the highlands, so its all about effort and enjoyment!!!!
I have travelled to see Vai since his support gig with Aerosmith at the SECC in 1993. I was miffed I missed the David Lee Roth gigs in Edinburgh in 1988 tho!! :oops:
