Re: Jem77FP2 Questions!

I don't know, but there are today maybe easier to get an answer at the Jemsite forum: http://www.jemsite.com/forums/index.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I owned both a Jem7v and a Jem77fp (the original fp). Great guitars both. Drop C tuning? Sounds very low for a floating tremelo...

Re: New IBANEZ JEM 70V Premium

I got an answer from a seller today. Can't trust the answers 100% but what I got was: 1. The Jem70V should be listed in 1-2 weeks. 2. The price will be around 1100 EURO (€) By "listed in 1-2 weeks" I don't know if that means just listed at the web-shop or in stock. Time will tell. The price is close...

Re: EVERYONE LISTEN UP

Can't remember for sure, but I was listening alot to Van Halen in the old days. So when David Lee Roth left Van Halen and released his first solo album with Steve Vai on guitar I believe that was maybe the first time I heard Steve and noticed his excellent playing. Also back then, a friend told me t...

Re: How to get started?

In these days... Google it. There are many books and online articles to read/learn/practice. But if you can get someone to show you, and play with I believe that is the best. Read and learn about music theory and improvisation. Maybe someone at you local school can help? If you are some new, maybe s...

There are many "best guitar player".
When you have listed to Gilmour, Vai, Satriani or some else for a long time you
want to listen to something else.

Re: “The Middle of Everywhere”

Interesting. I hope the composition will be released on cd one day. It "remains" me of some "contemporary classical music" (or what to call it). I could here some Vai DNA in it, but hard to say yet before we can hear the real thing. Will Vai be conducting himself? I would love to hear some Vai compo...

Re: New Vai Album Release Date...

I believe Steve also has a private life, he can't always be playing guitar or composing. So sometimes plans and work must take longer time then first predicted. And Steve would never release anything he ain't 100% finsihed with so let's just wait and see. I just have some happy time listening to son...

Re: What are you practicing at the moment ???

The changes to Giant Steps are nice playing slowly on guitar. I am trying to learn some basic playing skills on some for me new instruments. The list is long: piano, drums, flute/saxophone, harmonica... and glockenspiel! :) I just force myself to some practice time and see how fare I come. Oh, and I...

Re: Another Happy Birthday, Steve!

I was at work today and had some documents I wrote and had to set a date. So I wrote 6/6... and it just struck me "Steve Vai has birthday today!". I am really bad to remember peoples birthday, I only remember myself and my youngest sister. And it looks like you Mr. Vai is also one of the few I remem...
