I just don't see why some of you are so interested in knowing what Steve's religious belief is, or if he has one. While finding a way to connect is and should be a personal thing, there is no harm in finding out about the roads others have gone down to get there. When I decided it was time to get i...

Yeah....I remember seeing that and getting a kick out of it. Maybe I've spent too much time gawking at pics of Steve, but I knew right away it was from the Mothership....it's got the same carpet.

I've been to several Vai shows now, have several bootleg videos as well as a bunch of misc. live stuff on Mp3, so I've pretty much seen the gamut of the past several Vai tours. This might be a little long, but hell....oh well. First and foremost, I've gotten kind of bored hearing "Liberty" start and...

I need to get some good pics of my 7V with all it's scratches/dents/cracks. It's not nearly as bad as Evo, but getting close to the condition of Flo. Last year, the headstock was snapped clear off, but repaired. There's a few dents in the back of the neck, just little tiny ones. There's a few paint ...

Check around. It lists at $2399.99 USD, which-street value- is about $1700, give or take. I got mine in 97' for $1650, with a TON of picks/strings/straps/UV100 case, I just can't remember what the list was back then. (The list price has risen over the years.) www.IbanezRules.com is where ALL your Ib...

If I remember correctly, the current-day Flo is not the same as the original Flo, (the re-sprayed FP), but an actual 7VWH that's been modified.

Finally found a copy at Border's today. The DVD rocks, for sure. I threw in Disc 2 first to check out the bonus stuff. I found myself skipping through some of the little interviews with Scott Warner....they were a bit, eh, dull. The actual show is KILLER. With a Vai show, what else could you expect?...

Roland Schemers has some nice memorbilia, (That's a fun word to say), in the form of 3 guitars-

Nevilla
Red Lace

It's a sitar, it sounds like a sitar.

Still no dice for the DVD. I think this is going to have to be an after-holiday's purchase for me anyways. With so little time left before Christmas, travel plans, THE LACK OF THE DVD BEING IN STORES, I'll have to hold out for a while. Quite typically, I'm the first one in line for new material by m...

You're right, it is worth a shot. However, he really doesn't have that many extra necks. The only "extra ones" were broken (missing headstocks, broken heel joints, chipped fretboards, etc.) and in a pile in the garage in the Mothership house. :) Anthony I've got a wonderful website idea. Occasional...

I think Steve and Mikey are two of the tallest guys I know. I feel like a dwarf around them. It's like I'm 13 all over again... Except I was probably more mature then. :) Anthony Dude, I think I knew you when you were 13. (And vice-versa). This is something about Steve that had a big effect o...

My guess is that Sony/epic has a bigger reach/audience/dist network than FN. You don't say... (Not to be a dick, but....huh?) I've wondered this as well. We'll never find out full details, that stuff never gets released to the public really. Thus far, Vai hasn't released a complete studio disc thro...

Quite often, I describe Vai as a modern day Mozart. The way the man can write some of those songs, with all the instrumentation, layers and earcandy going on, there's no reason he shouldn't be called so.

No, it's not strange at all.

You really don't notice it all that much....either that, or I'm just very used to it. It just really gives you that extra bit to grasp ahold of when your bending up there.
