Before you do anything legally, make sure you have an adapter that will work SPECIFICALLY with the whammy pedal. When the adapter for my WH-2 died years ago, I got a standard 9volt adapter, but that simply turned the LED's on, also hissed when I plugged it in. I think I went to Sam Ash and told them...

Dude, there are far bigger things to make your mind up about rosewood vs. maple than cleaning issues.

However it was ingested.....tripping with Steve Vai would be something to see, I don't care who you are.

And to add to Kirk's defense, the guy plays in one of the world's biggest bands and it's obvious he's a very humble, down to earth guy. You see him as the peace-keeper a few times in Some Kind Of Monster.

My last band, my other guitarist was...uh....not so great. For the most part, he'd end up playing chord progressions under riffs I'd write. I get those days too, though. There was one day I went to practice and had to practice something my other guitarist wrote to get it up to par with him. He felt ...

Had my 7V for 10 years.....startin' to get a lil' scratchy, but aside from that, the pots are fine.

The main Animal riff itself sounds like Whammy harmonization to me too.

They're meant to boost his guitar signal and hit the front of the amps harder, ya can't hit the input harder if it's in a loop.

Extremely doubt it.

Of all the talk I've heard on the Edge Pro's, routing differently for the Lion's Claw is something I haven't heard. I don't think there's that much of a difference in bridge length to make something like that necessary.

Experience will prevail. If you honestly believe you need a ton of distortion/compression to make a note sustain, have fun for the rest of your life searching for a clear/articulate tone. If you honestly believe one is less intelligent for using a piece of gear to achieve a sound, well....that sound...

Saying, "I only believe what I see." and "Teach me how to see auras." is a lot like saying, "I have two stumps instead of hands." and "Teach me how to play guitar." Seeing auras and traveling astrally (out of body experience) sound super fun, but those are what I consider fringe benefits of using yo...

I guess for a lot of people, they prefer, if spending a lot of money, to get something brand spankin' new with the tags. I really don't care. I'd prefer to buy a guitar that's already been broken in and has some life in it, for a bit cheaper. Search used guitar sites, classified ads, high and low. Y...

Wow....I've snapped two headstocks clean off the necks, (RG570 and my JEM7VH), right in that same spot. They've both since been repaired and are absolutely fine. Never had a sustain problem or anything... He must feel rather strongly about that, as I remember reading back in the guitar gallery years...

Well tubes are the best, transisters are for noobs! Funny, I actually think comments like that are for noobs! (I won't even bother going over the countless guitarist through time who have used solid state amps and have gotten great tones from them) You can have a great sounding amp and still...

I used to get mine caught all the time. It actually came from a heavy right hand attack more than whammy abuse, but it did happen in both situations. My neck pick up used to be level with the fretboard, so it was pretty easy for the string to slide under. Funny....haven't snapped a string or gotten ...
