I have to strongly second, or third or whatever "The Riddle" as a definite choice, as to me that is Steve's most dense, complex and (dare I say it) best COMPOSITION so far. This would be the ideal choice for an academic analysis, as it contains both astonishing playing and extremely clever theory et...

I've had many problems with the ZR trem on the S470, culminating also with the collar shearing as you described. Ibanez should just scrap this POS trem and go back to the Edge Pro/Lo Pro Edge on all guitars. Even on the Prestige S models with the ZR, it's cheap and rubbish. Also, half the stuff you ...

Guitar Legends '92

On the commentary track of the Astoria DVD, Steve says that the performance of Liberty featuring him, Satch and Brian May was an "unmitigated disaster". Now, I've just watched the show, and to me it isn't so bad. He's not as polished as he is today, but the version still rocks. And FTLOG is also awe...

I tried it with GBP and this is what I got: Listprice : GBP 189697662.00 Our Price : GBP 123303405.61 Hmmm, something wrong there I think, £123 million is a bit much for a 7VWH, especially since it no longer has ebony board or Lo Pro. The site really should use a decent converter. Thanx for the link...

Anyone know who the guy was at the end that got Steve's setlist? I was on my way up to grab picks etc. and saw a tech handing the setlist to a guy. Just wondered if he's here.

Just watching the '03 G3 DVD, and I gotta say I love the lead tone on the intro of IKYH. Also, the lead tone during the jam is really cool.

Just goes to show that a good manager that cares about the music and fans, not just the money, can be a vital asset to an artist. Well done to you for taking it up with them, it's because of your email that Steve knows about it, so big kudos!! If only all managers were like this, then the business m...

Yeah, the Legacy's a great amp. Can't wait to get one, it'll be the final part of a long journey to find the perfect gear. Good luck with it, and make sure you turn it up to get them EL34s smokin'!!!

Man, I've never been to a gig where I felt this way afterwards like an addict needing a fix! I hope it won't be too long till the next tour... I think this just about sums up the experience that nearly everyone who's seen Steve on tour this time has had.....it seems like SSV is at the top of his ga...

Look at the first pic.
Who's that guy between Steve's legs?
Damn.. this must be the stupidest post I've ever made .
But seriously. No kidding.
I think it's Matt Bissonette, Satch's drummer. Could be wrong though.

Great pics Bobster. Browsing the rest of your site, I notice you have a pic of Graham Garside, who I know from the Hudds music scene. It may be of some interest to you that there's a jam night at the Vox Bar in Hudds on 24th November, where you'll be able to see most of the best musos in and around ...

During the end part of FTLOG, Steve said "I'm such a wanker". In America, wanker is used in the same way that shredder is here, or to refer to OTT guitar playing, so I think that's what he meant, rather than the British meaning!

I gotta say, that was the most incredible gig I have EVER been to. Sat in the third row, right in front of Billy, and so I got a good view of the whole stage. Eric Sardinas is, as his bassist said, a legend, and really rocked out. Gotta respect a man with that much attitude and the skill to back it ...

The Roland GP100 does some of the things that the H3000 does, but it's nowhere near as powerful, and is totally outclassed by the DSP4000 onwards. Try evilBay, should be able to get one for about £150.
