They came stock on my Jem. The Evo's are very versatile. I'm not entirley sure of what you mean by "smooth clean", but I'm sure you can get it with the right use of your amp and pickup selector switch/tone-volume settings.

I'd have to say Steve's worst video is For The Love Of God. I Would Love To looked cool, but it was very cheesy having those girls in it. The Audience Is Listening was good as well.

The DiMarzio website has info on the sounds of their pickups and how they are acheived and so forth. I've never played with SD's so I don't know how they behave. Evo's are very good pickups, though. Nice distortion and harmonics. Of course they aren't going to sound like Steve unless he's the one pl...
